Intergenerational mix and creation of 90 BBC - HQE housing and commercial units
Construction of 90 social housing units, an intergenerational hall and commercial premises in the La Berge du Lac eco-neighborhood on the banks of Bordeaux lake.
A landscaped walkway provides the main pedestrian access to the interior of the block. The general massing of the buildings optimizes east-west orientations, which are favorable for both sunlight and ventilation of the block from westerly winds. Heights are higher on the cours du tramway and lower on the eastern side.
The fragmentation of the different volumes creates a variety of viewpoints between the heart of the project and the various public spaces that surround it. Finally, the creation of a small square in the south-west corner creates a transition between the public space and the private interior of the block, and provides access to the commercial premises.
