Construction of 34 affordable housing units and 117 units for young workers

The project is part of the îlot Beauvau urban complex in the Chantrerie ZAC in Nantes, and complements an office development to the north of the plot. The program combines 117 housing units for young professionals and a smaller 34-unit building for open-access buyers.

The triangular shape of the buildings opens up wooded areas and completes the rectangular composition of the commercial project, while offering future residents the sensation of living in the trees.

The design of these two buildings was guided by the contact and spirit of the site, resulting in the volumetric originality and spirit of the sculpted buildings. Their volumetric morphology makes it possible to avoid overlooking, and to give favorable orientations to a large proportion of housing.
