PRODUCTION
Project 2017
Creating a sustainable neighborhood, the widely landscaped blocks of housing, shops and amenities will be laid out around a central lake. The entire ZAC will form a new urban landscape, energized by the tramway line that runs alongside the site; the compositional principles are inspired by classical French architecture.
La ville à la source
Development of the ZAC du panorama - Former EDF site
The project is part of the creation of a lively new district, bringing together various functions (housing, business, shops, hotel, cafés) around generous public spaces, including a central lake. The district will have a strong architectural identity.
This project is inspired by the codes of classic XIXᵉ architecture, combining the use of natural stone and metal. Slate roofs cap the buildings, and certain emergences mark the singular points of the project. Bow window frames and large metal structures punctuate the smooth stone facade, creating more generous openings into the living areas.
The building is set on a stone base with shops overlooking the square, and two attic storeys opening onto terraces on the upper floors.
