A 90,000 m² logistics platform and 3,000 m² of office and support space, aiming for BREEAM Very good certification.

At the heart of the Parc du Chemin de Paris intercommunal business park in Nanteuil-le-Haudouin, the site borders the RN2 motorway and is in the immediate vicinity of the Paris conurbation.

The configuration of the strip of land led to the creation of a simple logistics platform.

The building is clad mainly in double-skin, vertical-wave lacquered steel panel cladding. The gables are clad in flat red lacquered steel cladding, which turns over at the top of the building and extends into a canopy at the other end, establishing and characterizing the building in its environment.

The north facade of the warehouse, on the quayside, is equipped with glazed strips providing natural light and views to the outside for the reception and preparation area. To the right of the emergency exits, "trapezoidal shapes" in red double-skin cladding panels break up the linear appearance of the facade and give rhythm to the whole.

The south-facing facade is of the same high quality, with grey vertical wave cladding, red trapezoidal cut-outs and a projecting fascia at the top, while respecting the technical constraints of the heat shield.
The office premises are treated with the same dynamic, using a play of volumes clad in glass curtain walling or red flat cladding.

The essential service rooms are clad in grey wave cladding, in keeping with the main volume. They are concealed behind a red perforated metal mesh rising from the ground to the canopy and characterizing the building from the main views of the RN2 and the railroad line running alongside the site to the east and west.
The planned layout ensures the separation of heavy goods vehicle, light vehicle and pedestrian flows, guaranteeing functional and safe use of the site.

In addition, working with a landscape architect, we were able to limit the presence of the building and manoeuvring areas in relation to the surrounding area, particularly in relation to the railroad line to the west and the RN2 to the east; to create a pleasant living environment for site users; and to create ecological continuity on all sides of the site by choosing local plant species.

The desired architectural and landscaping quality, the optimized and meticulous implementation and the desired comfort of use are all objectives and criteria consistent with the BREEAM Very Good certification being sought, a guarantee of quality for the design, construction and future operation of the building.

Our ambitious goal is to produce 6,000 MWh, meeting the energy needs of 1,400 households. Thanks to participatory financing, the local population contributed 5% of the total project budget, estimated at around 5 million euros.
