Design and construction of an Aqualudic Center in the heart of a protected park on the banks of the Rhône river

Located in a protected flood zone on the banks of the Rhône, the aquatic center l'Épervière is a perfect illustration of how to enhance the value of a region through a comprehensive environmental approach and rapid implementation, in response to contemporary technological and ecological challenges.

This ambitious project benefits from the innovative use of BIM (Building Information Modeling), enabling optimized information management and real-time visualization of every project component, from the design phase through to construction.

This approach ensures harmonious integration into the natural landscape while meeting sustainability and climate resilience requirements.

Accessibility is at the heart of our design, with a ramp adapted for people with reduced mobility (PRM), leading to the main level located 3.30 meters above ground for optimum protection against flooding. Technical installations are judiciously positioned below, in compliance with the regulations of the French Flood Risk Prevention Plan (PPRI).

The reception hall opens onto various areas designed for well-being and leisure: fun, multi-purpose pools, a fitness zone, an innovative sliding simulator, a Nordic pool and pentagliss systems. The center offers two fitness zones: a "wet" zone with balneotherapy, saunas and steam bath on the reception level, and a "dry" zone with cardio fitness equipment on the upper floor.

The indoor-outdoor aquatic spaces offer a complete experience:

  • Indoor A swimming pool, a paddling pool and two slides for everyone's enjoyment.
  • Outdoor Our outdoor facilities include: an energy-efficient Nordic pool, a wet play area, three outdoor slides, and a planted solarium for activities such as beach volleyball, underlining our commitment to biodiversity and the inclusivity of aquatic facilities.

The green project uses geothermal energy and heat recovery from the air treatment system. Benefiting from a high-performance thermal envelope, its location has been thought out in relation to wind and sun, making this aquatic complex an example of bioclimatic architecture

L'Épervière stands out for its holistic approach, combining technological innovations for pools, community involvement and green architecture, making it a model LEED-certified aquatic center dedicated to well-being, relaxation and sustainable leisure.
