The sheer size of this facility is nothing in the context of the large port of Fos-sur-Mer. It is nonetheless exemplary in its environmental approach, which has led to the development of HQE certification applied to industry: zero discharge autonomy, recovery and treatment of rainwater by on-site phytodepuration, 100% rail logistics for waste input (with a truly integrated station), a large proportion of wooden structures, and of course the production of electricity, heat and biogas from waste-resources; illustrated in the predominant transparency of these long facades.
