Parc des Aiguilles

BARJANE entrusts A26 with two buildings emblematic of its ecological ambitions

Working alongside BARJANE since the launch of the Parc des Aiguilles project in Ensuès-la-Redonne in 2008, A26 has supported the investor-developer's environmental ambitions on this 60-hectare park, which aims to become a showcase for sustainable development. Scheduled to eventually accommodate more than 170,000 m² of buildings aiming for ISO 14001 and HQE or BREEAM certifications, this park on the outskirts of Marseille is this year seeing the construction of two platforms of 56,000 m² and 43,500 m² designed by A26 and destined respectively for Action and Decathlon.

As a sign of BARJANE's commitment to eco-responsibility, the Parc des Aiguilles is the focus of the Provencal group's ecological charter, which calls for the installation of the largest rooftop solar farm in the Bouches-du-Rhône department. With a combined output of around 6.1 MWp and representing the average consumption of almost 4,000 inhabitants, these plants will be built and operated on the roofs of the future DECATHLON and ACTION distribution centers. This initiative has enabled the logistics and economic activity zone to be designated a "turnkey industrial site" by the French Ministry of the Economy, Finance and Economic Recovery.

Beyond this recognition, motivated by the power of these photovoltaic power plants, the entire site and its buildings pay extreme attention to the comfort of the future employees of the companies that will set up there - over 1,000 jobs created in the long term. Architectural quality, landscaping, preservation of biodiversity, alternative rainwater management... A26 is committed to upholding the values dear to BARJANE. Work on these two buildings began at the end of winter, and is perfectly on schedule for delivery within 8 months.

CARBON-NEUTRAL PLATFORM

100,000 m², 45 million parcels delivered per year, 150 KT of CO2 neutralized, gas-fired boiler abandoned: the latest logistics platform delivered to Prologis in Moissy-Cramayel by the A26 agency inaugurates the standards of tomorrow's responsible warehouse. This carbon-neutral certification for both construction and operation is a world first, simultaneously meeting the development challenges of the Casino Group's quick commerce business and the social responsibility of Samada/Monoprix and Prologis.
