Child Psychiatry Unit

Extension and restructuring of a 16-bed child psychiatry hospitalization unit and research premises

The project proposes to physically distinguish the four main entities of the future building: General reception (distribution to the various departments), Hospitalization (accommodation), Activities, Research units ("external" sector). The existing ground-floor building forms a central ball-and-socket joint between the three new extensions.

With the exception of the "General Reception" extension (R+2), which visually marks the main entrance, the whole complex is laid out on a single level to facilitate functional links between each zone and to the outside world.
