Redevelopment of Place Nansouty in Bordeaux
The Place Nansouty redevelopment project, which was carried out in consultation with local residents, meets the expectations of users and enables the lively, animated spirit of the square to be preserved and the heart of the district to be reaffirmed.
The first stage of the new development involves the creation of a stormwater retention basin to protect the square and adjacent streets from the risk of flooding.
The new composition then provides for a calmer square to the west, where the shops are located, with a pedestrian terraced sidewalk, a shady square planted with trees to highlight the preserved fountain, and a convivial square with numerous services, a cohabitation of possible uses and guaranteed urban comfort with parking for all types of travel.
