Aquatic center construction: The blue effect
The swimming pool project is set on an enclosed plot bordered by planted embankments in the spirit of a "clos masure", so that views of the horizon from the pool beaches can be enjoyed beyond the planted embankments that close off the plot to the south and protect the gently sloping grassed beaches from views from the street.
The plot is divided into three zones: the first and second, respectively the parking lot and the swimming pool, fit into two staggered squares. It is their meeting that reveals the forecourt. The parking lot links the existing car park in front of the multi-purpose hall with the one further north. It weaves the link between the pool and the street, with strips of pedestrian traffic forming visual openings in the merlon.
The entire program revolves around the project's unifying element, the Nordic pool patio. Located at the heart of the pool, it participates, animates, illuminates and orientates. From the entrance to the outdoor decks, via the pool hall, all spaces are naturally lit. Each space offers multiple visual sequences as you stroll through the pool, both outwards and from one space to another, allowing you to assimilate the different functions via the Nordic pool patio, right from the reception area.
The internal organization from the reception hall allows two different audiences to be seen at the same time, each with their own independent circuit. The two audiences coexist without crossing each other, right up to the pool hall, where family and leisure activities are separated by a play lagoon / paddling pool and leisure pool, and learning sports activities are separated by partitions.
